Prescribed Fire for Resource and Public Benefits
Beginning Tuesday 05/18/10, the Irish Understory Prescribed Burn project will occur approximately 1/2 to 1 mile behind White Pines Lake in Arnold. The project will last 2 weeks and is contingent upon weather, fuel moisture and air quality. All burning will be monitored and conducted in accordance with state and county air quality guidelines and closely coordinated with local air quality control districts.
